There's going to be a chill in the air. It will probably be raining and gloomy. But there's something comforting about blue tarps and steam rising off of grills and out of pots. Flannel shirts, biscuits and gravy, sausage and cheese chowder, soups, and stews. What could be better?

I've wanted a Vegas theme for a while. Not sure how we're going to pull it off, but I imagine opportunities to gamble.

Food will be a buffet (isn't it always?) of steak (or short rib) and eggs, biscuits and gravy.

Ahhhh the great Northwest. Little known fact: Bubba, Stephen, and Dennis once went on the field in Corvalis.

We will celebrate the homeland of Oregon State with a Craft Beer Themed tailgate. Bring your favorite small batch brew and we'll put it on ice and act pretentious and snooty about the flavor, discussing its place of origin and the brewmaster and whatnot. Why? Because a noon kick makes for a short tailgate, and a short tailgate is not long enough to get drunk and drink bad beer.

Pastrami hash for breakfast. Some skewers of random meats for second breakfast. Let do this. Seriously, bring at least a sixer of something tasty.

Jim Harbaugh takes the field for the first time as a Wolverine since the 1987 Rose Bowl. Michigan opens on the road...on a Thursday night...in Utah. Jim is unhappy about all three of these things.

I don't know where we are tailgating. I don't know that we are actually tailgating. I am open to suggestions. Please advise.
