Way Back When-sday Celebrated Neumanium with the Goat

A very special retirement edition of Way Back When-sday…

January 1, 2000: Mr. Tom Brady threw for 4TDs, led Michigan back from 14-point deficits twice and forced overtime where Alabama missed an extra point, making Michigan the 2000 Orange Bowl champions. After this his last game in the Maize and Blue, Tom would go on to be the undisputed GOAT, eclipsing every QB record in the books and collecting more Super Bowl rings than any franchise. Looking forward to seeing you in the booth or on a future Michigan sideline with a headset on!

September 23, 2000 - A throwback to me when I was in my cougar hunting phase prior to Michigan’s 35-31 defeat of the Illini in Champaign. This photo is part of the “Pammy Project,” a rough version of Marie Kondo where I personally archive all the Godfather’s shit so his wife can get it out of the house. Full game page lives here.

September 2, 2000: Hey, that’s me! Holding my niece (now a Junior at Purdue) at our tailgate on the golf course before Michigan dismantled Bowling Green 42-7 to open the season. Added about 20 fresh photos from the Godfather’s archives to the game page, which you can find here.
